Who’s Lulu?

That’s a fair question and I wish I had a simple answer for you. If I were to put it artistically, I would say that I am a solo traveler who loves to inspire others to allow their hearts to tell their feet where to take them in the world. If I were to put it simply, I would say I am a student of the world. I love seeing new places, experiencing new things, and breathing in life wherever I can. Travelling the world seems to be the best way for me to do that, so I started traveling.

What is this?

This website is simple.  It is my stories, my pictures, my travels, and my life; in whatever way I can share them with you.  I hope that you enjoy the things I share here and that you find inspiration to step out of your comfort zone and travel to that place you've been longing to see.  Even if you travel from the comfort of your bedroom, I encourage you to see the world and broaden your perspectives on the cultures that we share this beautiful planet with.  Thank you for your time and your thoughts.

How did this start?

When I was in high school, I was fortunate enough to have a band director that got us hooked up with the coolest band trip ever. We were the floor show on a Carnival cruise line. Visiting Mexico at 13 was the bug bite that started it all. Since then, I’ve been to 26 countries. My goal is to grow that number every year, but life sometimes makes that difficult.  I have plans to visit pretty much anywhere I can get to, though I’ve spent most of my time in Europe.  I enjoy the convenience of hopping from one country to another with ease and the history there is phenomenal.

I even wrote a book!

At the very end of 2019, I had my book published with the help of iUniverse. After over a decade of traveling, I decided that I wanted to help other people figure out where to go, how to get there, and what to pack. My sister suggested the title and man, was she right. Whether a seasoned traveler or a newbie, I recommend reading it to see what you can learn. Available on iUniverse, Amazon, and even on Kindle. Check for it wherever you get your books.

Stay tuned to see where I’m going next.

Thanks, y’all!
